Village Wide Trash Day

Clear the Clutter! Village Wide Trash Day Returns to German Valley

Mark your calendars, German Valley! Our much-anticipated Village Wide Trash Day is back and set to take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This special event is exclusively for German Valley residents, offering the perfect opportunity to clean out garages, basements, attics, and everything in between.

The dumpster will be conveniently located behind the German Valley Fire Station, making drop-off easy and accessible throughout the day.

Please note:

• No tires or chemicals will be accepted.

• TV tubes and monitors come with a small disposal fee:

  • $30 for items larger than 13 inches

  • $20 for items 13 inches or smaller

Whether you're parting with that old recliner, clearing out broken appliances, or just reclaiming space, this is the day to do it. Let’s keep German Valley clean and beautiful—one load at a time!

German Valley Days

German Valley Days is an annual community celebration held on the third weekend of July. We have family fun events ranging from 5K run, to Kiddie Tractor Pull, to basketball shooting contest, to our Grand Parade and fireworks show. All of our support comes from donations from our community members and businesses. We are organized by community volunteers, German Valley businesses, and local organizations.
